우울한 생일파티

I survived my birthday last Sunday.
As is tradition, I started my day with cherries - my favorite fruit of the season - and peonies, my favorite flowers! And I received some lovely gifts (mainly photography books :-), like “Wonderful Things” by British photographer Tim Walker whose work I love.

나는 지난 일요일에 내 생일을 넘겼다.
늘처럼, 나는 내가 가장 좋아하는 계절 과일인 체리와 내가 가장 좋아하는 꽃인 모란으로 하루를 시작했다! 그리고 제가 좋아하는 영국 사진작가 팀 워커의 "Wonderful Things"와 같은 사랑스러운 선물들을 받았습니다.

The rest of the day I was in a very melancholy mood and didn’t feel like celebrating. I still have to throw a party somewhere this summer, to celebrate being alive in this world, despite everything.

남은 하루동안 나는 매우 우울했고,
축하할 기분이 아니었다. 저는 여전히 이번 여름 어딘가에서 파티를 열어야 합니다.
이 세상에 살아있다는 것을 축하하기 위해서죠. 모든 일에도 불구하고 말이죠.
